Patrick Harrigan, B.A., M.A. (University of Michigan) joined SWSH already with thirty years experience as a researcher, author and publisher of Indian studies. He is conversant in Tamil, Hindi, German, Nepali, Sanskrit and Sinhala.
Mr. Harrigan grew up in Michigan, USA, in the 1950's and 60's. An avid student of Indian languages and religions, he has spent most of his adult life living and working outside his native USA, mainly in India, Sri Lanka and Germany.
Mr. Harrigan is the author of over seventy published articles on aspects of Indian culture and the editor-publisher of 35 websites including Murugan.org, Palani.org and Tiruchendur.org.
Since joining Smith White Sharma & Halpern, Mr. Harrigan trained at SWSH corporate headquarters in Atlanta, USA, before transferring to the Chennai office of SWSH where he directs the Fast Track USA program.
Drawing upon decades of experience working in management positions in the USA and Germany as well as in India and Sri Lanka, Mr. Harrigan teaches young Indian professionals how to speak American business English the fast and easy way.
